The
Las Vegas Applicant Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, testing,
and processing applicants interested in employment with the FBI
who are residing in Las Vegas and elsewhere in Nevada.
At the present
time, applications are being taken for the following positions:
Special
Agent
Special Agents
must have a minimum of a four-year college degree and work experience
or educational background in a particular area. The types of areas
that qualify for employment can be found at the FBI's website, www.fbijobs.gov.
Currently applicants who do not possess one of these "critical
skills" will not be considered for employment. Those
applying for this position must be willing to relocate from the
Las Vegas area, be between the ages of 23 and 36, and be in good
physical condition. Candidates must be able to pass a written test,
oral interview, polygraph examination, drug test,
one-and-a-half
mile run, medical examination, and background investigation. More

Contract
Linguist
Contract linguists
must meet the same qualifications as language specialists.
These individuals, however, will be self-employed linguists contracting
with the FBI, and therefore, can reside in Las Vegas. They
may be asked to travel to other locations on a temporary basis to
assist the FBI in other locations. Individuals with skills
in the following languages are needed for these positions:
